System Director of Cardiovascular Services named

Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS), a leading Catholic health ministry with operations in Illinois and Wisconsin, announced today that Candace Cymerman has been named HSHS System Director of the Cardiovascular Service Line. She will join HSHS on Feb. 3.
In this role, Cymerman will work closely with HSHS aligned physician groups Prairie Cardiovascular, Prevea and others, as well as the cardiovascular services teams at HSHS’ 13 hospitals in Illinois and Wisconsin.
Cymerman has over 40 years of experience in cardiovascular services, starting with clinical bedside care as a cardiac cath radiologic technologist through ever-advancing cardiovascular services leadership roles in health care systems in Illinois and Texas. She comes to HSHS from Tenet Health in San Antonio, Texas, where she served as the Administrator of the Cardiovascular Service Line, Thoracic and Pulmonary Medicine, first in their San Antonio market, then most recently in their Palm Beach market.
Cymerman earned her Master of Arts degree in organizational healthcare leadership from Claremont Lincoln University in Claremont, California, and her Bachelor of Science degree in healthcare administration from the University of St. Francis in Joliet, Illinois.
