HSHS Names System Director of Rehabilitation Services

Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS), a leading Catholic health ministry with operations in Illinois and Wisconsin, announced today that Jarod “Jeb” Husmann, PhD, PT, FACHE, has been named HSHS System Director of Rehabilitation Services. He will begin this new role on April 27.
In this role, Husmann will continue to elevate this service with a focus on strategic alignment to elevate both inpatient and outpatient therapy services positively within the communities served by HSHS, which includes 13 hospitals in Illinois and Wisconsin. He will work closely with HSHS aligned physician groups, including Prevea, HSHS Medical Group, Prairie Cardiovascular and others to maximize the clinical impact for patients.
Husmann has nearly two-decades of health care leadership experience in not-for-profit and for-profit health systems in musculoskeletal services, which include orthopedics, podiatric medicine, physical medicine, sports medicine and rehabilitation services. He currently serves as the Executive Director of Musculoskeletal Services for the HSHS Wisconsin Market and Prevea Health and is also the President of Lasante Wisconsin/Home Medical Equipment and he will continue to serve in this role.
He joined HSHS and Prevea Health in 2012 and led the integration of therapy services in our HSHS Wisconsin ministries, including Prevea Health. He has also held several additional outside roles, including rehabilitation consultant, guest lecturer in the physical therapy program at Marquette University and adjunct professor in the doctoral business administration program at Concordia University of Wisconsin.
He has a PhD in Business Management, a Master of Arts in Physical Therapy, a Master of Science in Healthcare Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Health Science. Husmann is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and a graduate of the Senior Executive Program with the American College of Healthcare Executives and is a licensed physical therapist in the State of Wisconsin.
