NICU babies celebrate July 4th in style

GREEN BAY, Wis. – HSHS St. Vincent Children’s Hospital in Green Bay is excited to announce a special celebration in honor of Independence Day. Our newborn intensive care unit (NICU) babies have been dressed up in their most patriotic apparel, bringing festive cheer to our unit’s team and spreading joy to families and colleagues.

As the first to introduce a Level III NICU in our region and remaining one of the few in Northeast Wisconsin, HSHS St. Vincent Children’s Hospital has been a beacon of hope for the most vulnerable babies in our community. For over 50 years, our NICU has grown to become the largest in the region, with 26 beds dedicated to providing highly specialized care.

Our team, consisting of neonatologists, neonatal nurse practitioners, registered nurses, developmental therapists, lactation consultants, respiratory therapists, and social workers, provide 24/7 care for infants born prematurely, with low birth weights, congenital birth defects and unanticipated complications during delivery. We are proud to offer this expert level of care in Green Bay as the first, largest and longest-serving NICU in the region.
