Primary Stroke Center
HSHS St. Mary’s Hospital Medical Center is certified as a Primary Stroke Center certified by The Joint Commission. We play a crucial role in providing rapid, specialized care for stroke patients through meeting rigorous national standards for stroke treatment, ensuring patients receive the highest level of care when every second counts. We have established coordinated transfer protocols to ensure seamless transport to our Level II Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center at HSHS St. Vincent Hospital when needed.
Emergency Department Parking
The main entrance/lobby atrium for HSHS St. Mary’s Hospital Medical Center is on Shawano Avenue at the circular drive (large statue of St. Mary is in center of drive). You may park in the parking lot off Shawano Avenue and use this entrance to access the emergency department.
