Your Future. Our Mission.

Hospital Sisters Health System is making the largest investment in its history in Green Bay. An estimated $270 million in strategic capital is being invested to upgrade HSHS St. Vincent and St. Mary’s Hospitals.

Overview

Our investment, approximately $270 million in strategic capital dollars, is in response to community need, which is something we have been committed to for more than 125 years. Today, we see a significant need for greater health care access in Green Bay. The demand for our health care services far exceeds the number of hospital beds that we can provide. As a result, we are planning for now and for the future as we see the demand for a higher level of health care and intensive care already. With an aging population, we know that this need is going to continue.

FAQ

We are building a new patient tower on the St. Mary’s property and will be renovating the existing hospital.
It is estimated that the entire project (St. Mary’s and St. Vincent) will take 3 years.
We are still determining which services will be offered at this location and which will be provided at St. Vincent. With two hospitals in one city, we can distribute services across both campuses, enhancing access to care. Additionally, there will be 24/7 emergency department care, as well as an expansion of intermediate and intensive care beds, along with many other services.
There will be no increase in cost to patients due to our investments.
