Your Future. Our Mission.

Hospital Sisters Health System is making the largest investment in its history in Green Bay. An estimated $270 million in strategic capital is being invested to upgrade HSHS St. Vincent and St. Mary’s Hospitals.

Overview

HSHS has been a part of the Green Bay community since 1888, continuously evolving to meet the health care needs of the community. Now we see a significant need for greater health care access in Green Bay. With population growth on the horizon, more people from outlying communities seeking care in Green Bay, and an aging population, we see a significant need for greater health care access in Green Bay. As a result, we are planning for now and into the future as we see the demand for a higher level of health care and intensive care already. With an aging population, we know this need is going to continue.

The largest project and where work will begin first is at HSHS St. Mary’s Hospital Medical Center on Green Bay’s west side.

Our vision for St. Mary's

While still in early planning stages, we are excited to share with you the following preliminary design images that show what we envision for the future St. Mary’s.

Exterior view

We envision a more modern exterior and campus that offers more parking and is easier for our patients to navigate. A new tower is also planned for the hospital campus that will allow us to add more beds and care for more patients.

We want our patients, visitors and colleagues to feel a sense of calm and healing upon entry. Plans include an abundance of natural light and more spacious public and clinical areas within the hospital.
