October 01, 2024
St. Francis of Assisi is widely known as the patron saint of animals and the environment. To honor St. Francis’s love for all creatures, HSHS St. Mary’s Hospital invites the community and their pets to a Blessing of Animals ceremony on Thursday, Oct. 3 at the St. Mary’s Hospital Cancer Center at 5:30 p.m.
Fr. Amal Roche will perform the blessing and dog treats will be provided by local pet shop, Millie and Bo’s Barkery.
All animals in attendance must be on a leash and pet owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets.
