Expectant moms can get all their “what to expect when expecting” questions answered by attending any or all the prenatal education programs offered by HSHS St. Francis Hospital in the coming year.
St. Francis Hospital offers a two-part Childbirth Education and Breastfeeding Class that is designed to give expectant parents a comprehensive journey through the process of birth and infant care. The classes are led by a registered nurse from St. Francis and a Certified Lactation Consultant.
The Childbirth Education and Breastfeeding Class is offered from 1 to 5 p.m. on March 9, May 3, July 13, Sept. 28 and Nov. 30. Limited spots are available. Parents can choose to attend one or both sessions on the scheduled day.
HSHS St. Francis Hospital’s Family Maternity Center is Cribs for Kids certified as a Safe Sleep Leader. During your stay, parents will be educated on safe sleep and positioning practices for newborns.
