HSHS St. Clare Memorial Hospital
Who We Are
HSHS St. Clare Memorial Hospital has been part of Oconto Falls history since 1921. Formed as a not-for-profit organization, the board of directors were citizens of the community. In 1954, the hospital was named Community Memorial Hospital (CMH) in honor of military veterans.
On Sept. 1, 2014, Community Memorial Hospital joined Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) and became HSHS St. Clare Memorial Hospital. This addition included the CMH rural health clinics which have become HSHS St. Clare Memorial Hospital Prevea Health Centers in Gillett, Lena, Mountain, Oconto Falls and Suring.

- 24/7 care for medical emergencies and severe illnesses.
- Our partnership with Prevea Health allows us to offer a full range of medical specialties.
- Advanced technology with experienced surgeons for a wide variety of surgical services including general, orthopedic, vascular, podiatric and pediatric oral surgery.
- Wound Care and Hyperbaric Center, which is the only advanced wound center with a hyperbaric oxygen chamber north of Green Bay and south of Iron Mountain.
- Telemedicine program for real-time trauma evaluations and specialized assessments for patients, including telestroke for immediate, hands-on care.
- Almost Home swing-bed services allows patients to transition from acute hospital care to nursing facility care, allowing patients to continue to receive hospital services and therapy.
- Pharmacy and prescription services for fulfillment of prescription medications and over-the-counter medications, including a 24-hour refill line and mail delivery.
