Welcome to HSHS St. John’s Community Pharmacy

Since opening our doors in 2019, HSHS St. John’s Community Pharmacy has proudly served the Springfield-area community as an extension of HSHS’ mission – to reveal and embody Christ’s healing love for all people through our high-quality Franciscan health care ministry.

We are conveniently located across the street from HSHS St. John’s Children’s Hospital, in the Women’s and Children’s Clinic at 400 N. 9th St., Suite 1500, Springfield, IL 62702. We are open Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Our phone number is 217-757-6045.

What We Offer

We strive to make your pharmacy experience as smooth as possible. St. John’s Community Pharmacy accepts most insurance plans, including Medicare and Medicaid, so you can count on us for convenience and peace of mind.
Our professionally trained staff is dedicated to helping you save on your prescriptions. We’re happy to enroll you in manufacturer coupon programs and explore other options to lower your prescription drug costs, always keeping your best interests at heart.
Visit us and discover a wide selection of over-the-counter medications and vitamins – often at prices significantly lower than those at chain or big-box retail stores.
If you do not have insurance, you will find our cash prices for both brand-name and generic prescription drugs are considerably lower than those at chain or big-box pharmacies. We believe everyone deserves access to affordable medications.
We love what we do, and our single goal is to serve you in a welcoming, no-stress environment. At St. John’s Community Pharmacy, you will always be greeted with a smile.
To support your recovery at home after discharge from HSHS St. John’s Hospital, we offer our free “Meds to Beds” service. You can purchase your prescribed medications right from your hospital room on discharge day, and one of our pharmacists will call to answer any questions you may have. This program lets you head straight home from the hospital, and we are happy to transfer your prescriptions to your regular pharmacy when you need refills.
We care for our community and our environment. As a registered Drug Take Back site with the federal Drug Enforcement Administration, we provide safe, free disposal of unused or expired prescription drugs.
