HSHS St. Anthony's Convenient Care is available any day of the week. See a hospital physician for fever, broken fingers or toes, and other serious, non-life-threatening issues.

St. Anthony's Convenient Care is a better, faster and more comprehensive approach for patients needing urgent care who need a doctor after normal hours but do not necessarily need an emergency room. With experienced medical experts you know and trust, and more convenient evening and weekend hours, we're committed to delivering the highest level of care, right when you need it. The next time you're faced with an illness or minor injury and your doctor is unavailable, visit the one-stop clinic that was designed with your busy schedule in mind.

Your primary care physician or provider oversees your general health - your home base for health care. Dr. Andrew Poulos is accepting new patients. Call 217-347-0458 to make an appointment or schedule online.

Most problems can be taken care of quickly and at a lower cost by calling your provider for an office visit, including:

Emergency Care

Emergency Care

For life threatening injuries and illnesses or symptoms of a heart attack or stroke, call 911. Seek emergency care for:
  • Chest pain
  • Stroke
  • Difficulty breathing
  • Foreign objects in the eye
  • Head injuries
  • Allergic reactions
  • Severe bleeding
  • Obvious broken bones
  • Loss of consciousness
  • Change in mental state
  • Severe bleeding
  • Seizures
  • Migraines
  • Poisoning
  • Severe abdominal pain
  • Sudden paralysis or slurred speech
  • Anything related to pregnancy
