Letter from the Chief Nursing Officer
Serving as the Chief Nursing Officer at HSHS St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, Illinois is a dream come true for me. Nursing is a challenging but very rewarding profession. As CNO, I feel honored to be leading a talented group of nursing leaders and colleagues to improve the patient experience and provide high quality healthcare. I hope you’ll take the time to learn more about our mission as you consider becoming part of our St. John’s family.
Being a nurse at St. John’s is more than just a job. It is a full-time mission to uphold our values of respect, care, competence and joy with every patient and family they touch at St. John’s. From the nurses at our children’s hospital looking out for our smallest patients to our hospice nurses providing passionate and specialized care to those in their final stages of life and every nurse caring for patients at every step in the process, we greatly value the commitment our nurses make to patient care and providing healing services.
We hope you’ll consider joining our team!
