Welcome from the Chief Nursing Officer
Having served in various clinical and leadership roles at HSHS St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital prior to becoming Chief Nursing Officer, I know that the moments that count the most are those spent connecting with our patients. I have witnessed great progress driven by our ability to work closely as a team to enhance the delivery of patient care. In the past year, our organization embarked on the I Promise commitment. Through this statement, we promise to make a difference through each and every interaction we have on a daily basis.
Shared Governance and Unit-Based Councils have expanded our ability to elevate our culture by expanding the voice of nurses throughout the hospital. Nurses have committed to reflect on their own thoughts and actions with discernment about the decisions that create positive outcomes for patients. Nurses practice critical thinking skills every day and “reflecting” on these skills is a constant way to learn how to improve and identify new ways to accomplish tasks and deliver excellent patient care.
We are committed to carry our Mission forward by continuous performance improvement that reaches each and every patient we serve. We are St. Anthony’s and we make a difference! Won’t you join us?
